The service
Two Day Club is a health and fitness membership app that helps you build a daily walking habit through financial accountability. Members pay $4.99 per week, billed at each member's weekly anniversary. The fee is waived when you stay consistent with your daily step goal, as described below.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Two Day Club.
- You are responsible for maintaining access to the Apple ID used to sign in.
- By using Two Day Club, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.
How the membership works
- The membership fee is a fixed $4.99 USD per week (or local equivalent), evaluated at your weekly anniversary date. Anniversaries follow your signup date, not the calendar week.
- Your step data is tracked automatically via Apple Health on iPhone, and Android Health Connect when Android is available.
- Missing one day is allowed. The rule is: never miss your daily step goal two days in a row.
- If you do not miss two goal days in a row at any point during the week, the fee is waived automatically.
- If you miss your step goal for two consecutive eligible days during the week, the $4.99 fee can be charged at your next weekly anniversary.
- Your weekly status resets at the start of each new billing week.
- Days with fewer than 100 recorded steps are treated as data failures and will not count against you.
- Manually entered steps from supported health sources are excluded from your daily count.
- We only evaluate your two-day rule and bill the membership fee while your membership is active and your device is syncing step data. If we have not received step data from your device within the past 2 days (for example, because you signed out, uninstalled the app, lost your device, or were offline), we will not charge you for that period. When step data resumes, evaluation resumes from that day forward.
Cancellation, pausing, and deletion
- Cancel your membership. You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately: your subscription ends, we end your current streak, stop tracking your steps, and stop all future charges. Your account and historical records remain visible to you, but if you decide to rejoin later you begin a fresh streak from day 0. Prior streaks cannot be resumed.
- Sign out. Signing out has the same effect as cancelling: your subscription ends, your current streak ends, step tracking stops, and we will not bill you while you are signed out. If you sign back in later, you must rejoin manually and you begin a fresh streak from day 0. Prior streaks are not restored on sign-in.
- Uninstall the app. If you delete the app without signing out or cancelling, step data stops syncing. Because our system requires recent synced data to evaluate the two-day rule (see "How the membership works"), you will not be charged for days during which the app is uninstalled. Reinstalling and signing in resumes the service.
- Delete your account. You can delete your account entirely from Settings. This permanently removes all of your personal data within 30 days, cancels any active subscription, and prevents any further charges. Deletion is irreversible.
- EEA cooling-off period. Residents of the European Economic Area have a 14-day cooling-off period after their first membership signup, during which they may cancel for a full refund of any charges incurred.
Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By adding a payment method, you authorize Two Day Club to bill the $4.99 weekly membership fee in accordance with the rules described in "How the membership works" above.
- Nothing is charged at signup. Your card is saved on file and only billed at your weekly anniversary if you fail the two-day rule.
- All billing rules are disclosed clearly during onboarding, before you enter any payment information.
- Charges are final except in cases of verified tracking errors, data failures, or disputes resolved in your favor.
- The membership fee is a fixed $4.99 USD per week (or local equivalent based on your region). The fee may be adjusted in the future with at least 30 days notice via the app or email.
- You can update your payment method at any time from Settings.
Disputes
- If you believe you were charged incorrectly (for example, your steps were not recorded due to a device or app issue), you can file a dispute from Settings.
- We review all disputes and resolve them within 7 business days.
- When tracking data is ambiguous, we give the benefit of the doubt to the user.
Health data
- Two Day Club reads your step count from Apple Health on iPhone, and Android Health Connect when Android is available. We do not write to or modify your health data.
- Manually entered steps are excluded from your count.
- You can revoke health data access at any time via your device settings.
Not medical advice
Two Day Club is designed to support general wellness and habit formation. It is not intended as medical advice. Health statistics shown in the app (such as mortality risk research) are for educational purposes only. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have existing health conditions.
Your crew
- Following is optional.
- Anyone can follow you. Private accounts must approve every follow request.
- Someone you follow can see your first name, profile photo, daily step count, streak count, weekly membership status, and a count of how many times you have been charged the $4.99 weekly fee.
- Followers can send nudge messages.
- You can unfollow or block anyone at any time, which ends their access to your data immediately.
Disclaimer of warranties
Two Day Club is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that step tracking will be accurate at all times due to variations in device hardware, software, and connectivity.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Two Day Club's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) $50 USD or (b) the total amount you paid to Two Day Club in the 12 months preceding the claim. Two Day Club is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Dispute resolution and arbitration
For users in the United States: any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class arbitration. Claims must be filed within one year of the event giving rise to the claim.
For users in the European Economic Area: disputes may be brought before the courts of your country of residence under applicable local law.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
For users in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. For users in the European Economic Area, applicable local consumer protection laws apply.
